Egg eaters are pasteurized, so they are safe. I'm not sure why your questioning the cupcakes? The cake itself is baked, so it ok. I can't think of anything in the frosting that would be bad.

I asked my DH to stop and get cupcakes on the way home. Hooray for husbands who take care of our food cravings!

I normally don't get into anything marshmallow but when I was pg with dd2 it was all I could think about My person favorite creation is marshmallow crème sandwiched between ginger snaps!
And yes cream cheese frosting is perfectly safe. Cream cheese is pasteurized, so have fun!
