For those in the medical field, anyone bought maternity scrubs yet? Planning on it? I had just bought new scrubs a couple months before getting pregnant and am not too happy about buying $50 sets of new maternity scrubs I will only wear a couple of months:/

Lurking from May but I got away with wearing a maternity t-shirt and some large scrub jackets. I haven't needed maternity pants, I just wear my regular scrub pants under my bump (they were all drawstring) and I've had no problems. I bought one pair maternity scrubs and the pants are too big, even now, and it was a total waste of money, for me anyway.

My concern about wearing the scrub jackets is getting too hot. I'm in FL and even in the hospital I work in I still get warm with short sleeves. I'm always adjusting the AC.

So I've never worn the scrub jackets. No one does at my work actually. What's the benefit to that over maternity scrubs? Is it cheaper?

I just wear them cause they're open over my bump when it gets too big for regular tops usually starting around week 20
