What is the least amount that you've paid for a tattoo? Your not going to like the sound of this, but I have one that was homemade. He did make sure that he sterolized everything. I got it for free and it turned out great! Alot better than most homemade tattoos. The least amount that i've actually paid for, would have to be the one on my left arm. I got it done by an underground shop in the army, by a serjeant. It was $70.00
With my back piece I started out paying $100/hour...then it went to $50/hour....then it went to $50/session...then it went to just bring me lunch and we will call it even. (So that took it down to $5-$10/session!!!) My tattoo artist is Mexican and strangly enough all he ever wanted to eat was Taco Bell! hehehe - I am very fortunate to have him as one of my good friends!
Look me up on Facebook - Meighan Hopper Bloomington, Illinois
Me and my sis got matching ones, both were done for $150. So 75 each. Thats the onyl one I have so far.
DH has a huge one covering his arm/shoulder, that has taken numerous sessions. It was $350 first session, $100 second session, and the other three were "on the house" but we always tipped REALLY good, because the guy does AMAZING work. Plus, there is almost 20 hours into it, so break it down and its less than $25/hour!
He is doing one for the other arm, that will cover the whole thing and be a few sessions, for $200. But, he knows we'll tip him good!
