Ok so DH, BIL and I are planning to get a family tattoo that says "Love you past the sky". I was hopeing to do this August time frame around our anniversary. But I am having the hardest time deciding on where to put it.
I thought about placing it above my angel tattoo but I really want to put stars across the top of that shoulder and down onto my bicep.
I thought about across the top of my back but I want to do a cherry blossom branch hugging my left shoulder.
I thought about my lower back and that one is the one that seems best so far.
I even thought about trying to work it into the stars on my right bicep area but not sure how that would look or work.
Ugh why does this have to be so tough ?

So any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have many of my tattoos planned or in development. I am trying to make sure I leave space for all the ones I want LOL.

Yeah thats the other problem is deciding on size and alone or not. That probably depends more on where I put it. I thought about doing a ribbon if I did it on my lower back.

I think lower back is good too! Have you thought about maybe putting it on the top of one of your shoulders...you can google Rihanna to see what I'm talking about. I think it's really pretty! I'm getting lyrics to a song put on the top of both of my shoulders. Plus, you could also add stars or hearts, or something to add to 'Love you past the sky'...Just an idea. I hope you you can decide by the time you're ready to get it. I know how frustrating it is to want a tattoo and have the idea in your head, but not having any idea where the perfect spot will be.

THIS! This idea sounds perfectly awesome to me, intertwining "love you past the sky" with the stars. Something cursive, something flowy ... I mean, "stars" and "past the sky" ... I'm imagining something so beautiful over here!

Thanks ladies. DH has an appointment to finish his tattoo on Friday maybe I will pop in before getting the kids and talk to him to see what he can do. I am thinking the stars and bicep would look good if he can do it right.
Second option would be lower back.
