Hi ladies! Sorry it has been a super busy week! I missed checking in and seeing how you all were doing.

I am so happy for those of you who have had your u/s and got to see and hear your little ones heartbeat.

I have had the worse morning sickness than with my other four. Some of my girlfriends are joking it is either a girl or TWINS!

Yikes!

I will not get getting a scan until MAY 7! I will be 12 weeks I don't know if I can wait that long to see it this little Blueberry is going ok or if there are TWO!

Anyone with twins feel sicker? And anyone with one boy and one girl feel they had morning sickness worse with a girl?

I definitely had more morning sickness with my daughter than with my son. That being said, I have heard some people have the opposite experience. Every pregnancy is different though, severity or presence of morning sickness doesn't really indicate the gender...my mom was really sick with both me and my brother.

II think the only indication of twins is bigger belly much sooner than normal.

Good, twins would be quite a challenge. My uterus is still tucked down below my pubic bone so maybe I don't been to worry about that!

I've only had boys but my morning sickness with both of them lasted past 20wks and was awful. I work with a girl whose twins just turned one and she had zero morning sickness with them so I don't think it's an accurate indicator of twins or gender

I have a girl and two boys and was sick sick sick with all of them.

But it is weird we don't have any twins in the DDC yet. Normally a set or two has popped up by now. (fingers crossed I didn't just jinx myself! I have an u/s on Monday.)

My u/s showed one so definitely no twins here. This is probably my last so my dream of twins is not likely to happen

Surprised we don't have twins yet. I have my ultrasound tomorrow but highly doubt there is twins. Twins don't run on my moms side at all.

I think the tendency for twins is something that is passed from mother to daughter. Not mother (or father) to son.

I really wanted twins!! But they don't run in the family, so it would have been a super rare coincidence. Happy with my healthy little one for now!

the only genetic link for twins that they have verified (to my knowledge ) is hyper ovulation which can pass from mother to daughter and father to daughter.

I don't want it to be me! I am only working with one tube though so I think that will leave me happily with one!

I don't have my ultrasound until the 28th...

I'm still surprised it isn't me with as bad as my m/s has been. I have a lot of risk factors going for twins with number of PGs, being a twin, clomid, BFing when I got PG, etc. I have a follow up u/s monday and I'm a little nervous about it. They basically stop looking when they found the baby so I guess another could be hiding in there. Its happened before and usually with the super early u/s. I think I'm a little more paranoid then others too cause my mom's pg with my sister and I went "undetected" until my sister arrived. (My mom knew, but the doctors said she was just fat. My mom said we would separate with one on each side of her abdomen if she laid on her back.)

I would highly doubt it could be me. Just not a feeling I get. I won't have an u/s until, probably, June, so won't be confirmed until then I guess. LOL.

My friend from work is having twins. She is due in September. She went through all kinds of fertility treatments.

I had my OB double check. My question to her was, "There's just one in there right?" LOL She told me she didn't see anyone else. We only want two, so that's just perfect for me.

Glad it's not me! Though of course I would have been happy with whatever the universe saw fit to give me after the fight for this bean, I was overwhelmed by the idea of twins on the first go-round. I really wanted that special time for one-on-one bonding with my firstborn. Though when I was growing up I was a Sweet Valley junkie and hoped desperately for identical twin girls! I'd be more okay with it if it happened in a subsequent pregnancy.

Our U/S is April 23rd and we wouldnt be surprised to have twins. They run in both sides of our family. My Father in law is a twin. I am hoping its just one but okay with whatever God wants to do.
