It took me two months.

I pull my hat off to those who tried a long time to have this miracle. ❤️

If we count the length of time, over a year. If we count the months we got to actually try, just under a year. With wacky cycles, maybe hormonal issues and husband away for military training, this was much harder than I first thought it would be... But so amazingly worth it already!!

I really this poll doesn't come off rude. I dont want to offend anyone on how long they tried. I commend them for sticking to it tho. And it is worth it

I absolutely feel for the couples who have to try for long periods of time, and/or go through fertility treatments to become pregnant.

My irl friend tried for over two years and had a year of fertility treatments to get pregnant. She is due in September with twins, finally. I am so happy for her, it was such an emotional rollercoaster for her (and her dh).

That said, we weren't really "trying" at all for this baby. It was my third PP cycle. I was thinking I am 40, according to all the "experts" it should be harder for me to get pregnant now.....I guess not.

2mos, which hasn't been my norm! My last 2 babies took 19mos (with fertility procedures) and 13mos respectively. I was shocked we got pg so fast.

Good, when I reread it I'm like dang Sarah that might be rude. I'm glad no ones taking it offensively. And Lucy I've read your blog and seen you talk about it. You've been through the ringer. I'm so happy for you though. It takes a strong woman to stick through all that!!!!

1 month. Nov and dec were ntnp. I went on nuraring in jan, a lot was going on and it helped lengthen my cycle. Went off the ring in feb and were actively trying. It worked, got pregnant. I also feel bad for women that have to try so hard .

My husbands best friend and his wife have been trying for years. My husband feels bad telling them were pregnant so he's not going to. He doesn't get that it's going to be Hurtful 'probably' more when they find out by a big announcement but it's his friend. Men!

4 years but we weren't trying so I probably threw off your results! 4 years ago had an ectopic and lost my right tube. With half the equipment and past need for fertility help anyway we just gave up.

Ours wasn't planned so, I'm not quite sure what the answer is. I haven't been on birth control at all since my son was born. He will be 2 next month so I guess you could say it took 21 months of ntnp. (DH is a truck driver though, so he isn't home every night)

8 months for this bean and 7 months for the baby we lost last winter!

Never imagined it would be so tough- even though they say within a year is normal time frame

So....it really took us about 10 days...we started trying on March 2nd (first day of possible ovulation) and got a positive on the 12th...I have a close friend who has been trying for 3 years and has gone through 2 miscarriages so I feel very blessed and humbled.

I put longer than 12m. We don't use birth control and are pretty much open to children when they come but my youngest is 3 & 1/2yo and this is the longest I have been without being pregnant. I was pg in March 2013 but lost that one early on. So it has been a full year of NTNP for this baby to come along.

I lost my right tube to an ectopic 6 years ago. Since then I have had 2 healthy little boys and am pregnant again. Crazy how things work.

We don't "try" and we don't prevent so I won't vote. It was my 4th post partum cycle though and this is the soonest I've conceived. I had a 5 year "natural" spacing between my last two youngest so I was a little surprised to have them so close this time.
