OMG my symptoms hit the roof between Monday and Tuesday! I was already having nausea and fatigue and sore bbs and then BAM! out of nowhere everything got 10x worse. Now I am so sick around the clock and I experienced heartburn for the first time in my life (which was terrible! my sympathies to people who get it frequently). Ive been more than exhausted, I could sleep ALL DAY lol
I called my midwife and asked for a script for zofran and she said I would have to come in for an appt if I wanted a prescription. ***??? I have never had an ob who made me come in just to get a prescription. I was there two weeks ago and they know Ive been having ms... It was aggravating I had to drag both my kids into the office (20 min away) feeling like death just to have them tell me they would call the prescription into my pharmacy... So now I will get billed for them literally weighing me and doing nothing else. To top it off it took 5hrs and two nagging phone calls for them to put the prescription through to my pharmacy.
Sorry for the rant lol. Anyone else feeling especially cruddy lately??
Holy crap. That sucks. I'm sorry you went through all that. So stupid. Do you at least have the zofran. Same here but guess what DH went to get it and they were out of stock. So now I have to pick it up tomorrow agh. But I hope your feeling better.

I do finally have it! DH went to get it for me and the pharmacist said my insurance only covers half the prescription??? So annoying but the zofran did help. My nausea is definitely still hanging around but the zofran took the edge off Im sorry you have to wait until tomorrow! So lame!!!
Yeah, it's hit me like a tons of bricks this week too. It was already pretty intense before this week, but good grief! I'm still trying to deal without meds because it should just be for a few more weeks. And after this weekend I have a bunch of days off from work so I'll be able to deal with the nausea in the comfort of my own home with my cat and netflix :-) If I had other kiddos already, that would be another story!!
Also, despite my green face, I'm just so happy I feel so crappy (LOL). The last time I was at 9 wks, my symptoms started to disappear only for us to discover two weeks later our little one's life had ended basically right at the same time. If this is what 9 wks is really supposed to feel like, I'm all for it.

That sucks that they made you go into the actual office for a prescription. That's so silly. When my zofran prescription was first called into the pharmacy it was done by the medical assistant in the OB's office. I have fantastic insurance so I shouldn't have to pay squat. I went to go pick it up and they told me for 30 pills it would cost $221.00! Whaaaaaat?!?! The pharmacist said that zofran is considered a "luxury" item by many insurance carriers and that it will only be covered if requested specifically by the doctor. I told them to hold it and I would call the doc. The doc faxed them over a form and bada-bing, bada-boom: $4 to fill!
^^ I have good insurance too and it only cost 8 dollars to fill but they would only cover 15 pills instead of 30. I find it so strange that zofran is a "luxury" item because I literally dole out zofran to my patients at work like candy on Halloween
