So most of you know I've been having a lot of complications. Well July 5th I started getting this pain in my groin. And as time goes by it just gets worse. I talked to my pcp he said it was my hip. Talked to the specialist he said t was a round ligament, talked to my OB she said stretch it out. Well it started on the left side of my groin and now by the end of the day I'm waddling it hurts so bad and I feel like my whole crotch is going to rip apart. But the specialist said my cervix is long and closed. Idk none of my doctors will look or even really listen to me and I feel like something isn't right.

I hope everything is as innocuous as the doctors say and I really hope you can get comfortable soon!

Could it possibly be SPD? I have never personally had it but have heard others talk about it and it sounds like it sucks!

lurking from December. I had this pain my last pregnancy and it's starting again. It was so bad I couldn't stand. Excuse the tmi but it felt like I was being stabbed in my crotch. They said it was RLP but it was horrendous! I ended up being pulled from work at 25 weeks because I physically could not stand up straight. Nothing really relieved the pain but I found sleeping with a pillow between my legs helped some as well as not lifting at all, also watch how you turn and bend because that affected the pain for me. Good luck.

Ugh that does not sound pleasant I hope it doesn't get to bad. None of my doctors really listen to me about my pain.

Ask them to check on your kidneys. I had similar pain on my right side in both pregnancies. We thought it was round ligament pain, but it turned out to be hydronephrosis.

It wouldn't hurt to check, just to rule that out.

I'm getting REALLY fed up with this. "Stabbing pain in your side? Don't worry about it." I've never felt so dismissed and patronized in my life.
