Here is an introduction about myself and my current situation. On December 23rd I gave birth to my third child who was stillborn. I was 28 weeks at the time. Before this I had a healthy 5 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. There was never any reason found as to why my son did not make it. When my fiance and I learned the news that there was no heartbeat we knew that we would want another. We just weren't sure when it would happen or when we would be ready.
After some thinking we decided to not actively try or protect either just leaving it up to fate. I had my first postpartum period on January 25th. I had a faint positive pregnancy test on 2-23 but I had what seemed like a normal period starting on 2-27. This lasted for four days.
This Sunday, 3-23, I took a pregnancy test and it came up positive very quickly. I took a few more tests including a digital and all were positive. I went to doctor on Tuesday and had my blood drawn to check my hcg levels.
Today they came back at 110 and I'm going to have them checked again tomorrow. Both myself and my doctor haven't been able to come up with a due date yet. If we based my due date from the 1-25 period that would put me at over 8 weeks and my hcg levels seem to low for that. But if my due date is taken from the bleeding on 2-27 then I would barely be over 3 weeks.
According to my doctor and what I've been able to read online I would be around 4-5 weeks along. So I'm pretty confused at this point. I'm waiting to get more blood drawn and to schedule an ultrasound. All I know for sure is that I am pregnant and the lines of the pregnancy tests continue to get darker.
Sorry for the lengthy introduction. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone. I'm pretty sure that I will be due in November and I'm hoping to get my rainbow baby.
