I have always heard that women who are pregnant jave some crazy nightmares. I only have one reoccurring one. Seeing that the father isn't in the picture I have a nightmare that I go into labor and I'm home by myself my phone won't work and I go down the st call 911 and I have to go thru labor alone with no one because my family and friends have a tendency to be flaky. It like haunts me and I think about it all the time about being in labor alone. Does anyone else have pregnancy nightmares?

Oh my god I have them so bad! And this is gonna make me sound like a fruit loop but I swear my husband is having like sympathy pregnancy nightmares. Every morning for about the past week we've each had a crazy vivid and messed up scary dream to tell each other.

Kassi - have you looked into a doula? Then you will be SURE to have all the support you will need. They aren't cheap, but everyone I know who has had one has said they are worth EVERY penny.

I've had some disturbing dreams, but I'm not sure they are "nightmares."

Oh man they have been BAD lately! 3 nights ago I dreamt my husband was killed by a shooting and I was wondering around aimless and sobbing uncontrollably. When I woke up I grabbed him and hugged him so hard saying DON'T DIE I NEED YOU!

2 nights ago I dreamt I went into labor early and I looked down and baby girl was tiny and all wrinkly and laying on my tummy and I said but she is too small!

Ugh not fun

I would strongly encourage you to look into one. You are dreaming of having to do this alone, that would remove that fear. Doula's are also professionals whose only job is to support you and make sure your wants and needs are taken care of. It will remove one thing that you are anxious about, and that will lessen your stress, which is something we all need!

Yep apocalypse type dreams like zombies or all the power goes out I wouldn't say they were scary more just super stressful. I had a "nightmare" about Theo that I had given birth to him and took him home and I was catching flies and feeding them to him. I woke up and was sick to my stomach that dream really bothered me for some reason.
