On my medical schedule that my dr gave me it says she will do a test to check for trisomy 13 and 18 is that the same this at the maternity21 test? Does that mean I will know the gender of my baby at that time? Does everyone get this test? I thought it was only given to those who were at risk and I have no risk factors. Maybe just because I am high risk in general?

I have a screening scheduled. Its not the same as the maternity21. They will draw blood work between 10w3d and 14w and then again from like 18w-22w. If the screening is abnormal I will go to a MFM doc and get further testing.

Those are standard tests done in every pregnancy, I won't have those done since I am getting the maternit21 test, it's more like a risk factor test, if somethingcomes back odd It doesn't mean there is an issue, it just means they will test further

Those are standard tests like the others have said. Not a lot of doctors do the maternit21 test. My OB said it is pretty expensive and not all insurances will cover it unless it is ordered by a geneticist. (My insurance doesn't cover it)
