Next weekend is a camping weekend for us. We now live in an area with high lymes disease occurrence, so I was looking into bug repellent and was surprised to find that up to 10% deet is considered safe for pregnant women. And it is actually recommended since Lymes disease is passed to the fetus. Now out to the stores to find some with the right percentage.

Natrapel 8 Hour - Deet-Free Tick and Insect Repellent Proven to Last Up To 8 Hours!

This is what we use...it does not contain any DEET, but it works great with mosquitoes and ticks.

^^Thanks. I'll give it a try. (Or, see if I can find it, first.)

We use Burts Bees insect repellent. It's just oils and other natural ingredients. It works pretty well too. I got it at Toys R' Us. It's the only place I could find it.

I'm going to make my own this summer. I'm not a fan of the store kinds. I've heard this stuff works great. The Vinegar of the Four Thieves - Bulk Herb Store
