I noticed last week a painful lump under my skin (pea sized) if i don't touch it then it's just like a constant dull ache if i rest it feels the same, but if i start doing anything then it feels like i have pulled all the muscles in my belly in that area.
When she scanned me on thursday everytime she pushed down in that spot it made me jump as it hurt, she wrote it in my notes and told me to mention it at the consultant appointment on monday.
Anyone had anything like this before? im so worried about what it could be i have read hernia, fatty tissues, just a beign tumour or worse!
Sounds like a lipoma.. its just a little fatty cyst under the skin, i have one that's similar on the side of my stomach..they hurt if they are on a nerve. I was worried for a while when i had mine bc it was like ouch wth is this? But my boss has a few and said its just something you get if you gain or lose weight. I wouldnt be too worried unless its gets bigger, just keep an eye on it.

I agree with calijk, its most likely a lipoma or a (ugh I forget what its called but its literally a deep pimple) The most important thing is not to irritate it by touching it or moving it, thats what can make it worse. Bring it up to your doctor at your next appointment. HUGS
i cant wait to get it seen to on monday and put my mind at ease, its so far deep in the skin like in the muscle or fat or whatever it is under my belly skin my belly in that area is so tender and sore.
I get them all the time, I have had them on Lymph Nodes in my neck all of mine has been surgically removed due to where they were all were just cyst's. I have a few still on my neck and my head and they can hurt I just try and ignore mine so I don't push on them and all. But Do have it checked out. Better to be safe than sorry...
