Around lunch time every single day I get a Migrane.. and it will last the rest of the day. It makes me want to lay down and go to sleep but the pain is so bad I can't sleep. I am not use to headaches at all.. so this is so new to me. I know I can take tylenol.. but it hasn't helped.

I prefer no medication. We stay away from it unless necessary on a regular day so being pregnant, even if they say it is ok-- I like to stay away. But the pain is so bad that I am ok with the Tylenol.. except it does not help.

Anyone have any "natural" ways to get rid of these headaches?

I drink something with caffeine, have a long lasting sugar such as peanut butter and i put ice on the back of my neck. I get awful migraines and i cant take my preventative medicine or my treatment ones while pregnant. This seems to help me so i hope it helps you. I hope you feel better.

Are you eating the same thing for lunch every day (or near to it)? It could be that something you're eating is triggering the headaches.

I'm a migraine sufferer (thanks to our topsy turvy weather, I pretty much have them all winter long..sooo not looking forward to this winter!).. and usually the only thing I take for it is aleve, which is a big no no during pregnancy. So if I feel one coming on and am at work, I take a tylenol right away. Normally I try not to take medications, but lately there's just no way to function without

At home I tend to use more aromatherapy than anything else and find that that really works (massaging the oil on my forehead, temples, back of my neck). There are different aroma combinations you can use, though you do have to look to see what is safe for pregnancy and of course, different combinations work for different people. With this, you still have to have a rest period, but I find the migraines dull down to a dull ache within a good 15 minutes or so. (And if you decide to try this, DO talk to someone who knows aromatherapy quite well, and knows what is safe during pregnancy...since they'd have the best info on it)

I wish I could use it at work, but sadly my office is scent free
