I've read Room too and I thought it was really good!
Shadow of Banyan is on my list though Im unsure if Ill be able to handle it. Im overly sensitive to things like that

Ive read Room but I didnt care for it.

I love to read, but lately, my nook is full and I haven't read much.
My favorite Author is Orson Scott Card. Ender's game was the first sci-fi book I ever read.
