My older sister is only 30 and has had a partial hysterectomy due to many losses as well as tubals. She recently found outshe was pg and had a m/c. Me bring pregnant is a very sensitive matter and it hurts her yet I wanna be happy and not tip toe around her. She recently agreed with her dh to separate and she moved back home from FL to TX and she's living with us. How do you suggest I handle this? She wants to be at every dr appt and experience this but it hurts her and makes her angry because she can't have kids.

I think you just have to have a lot of patience with her and try not to take her anger personally. That's a really tough situation with her being so close and wanting to be involved in your pregnancy.

I don't know...have you talked openly with her and shared your feelings and listened to her feelings? It sounds like a very tough situation.

First I'm sorry for her personal trauma with all that has transpired; can't imagine what she battles with internally. Secondly congrats to you on your pregnancy!

Seems like she's in a tug of war, with loving and supporting you and trying to cope with her own revelations as of late. Naturally it's a trying time for her, but having your support is great sisterly gesture of course. A good heart to heart is key; where you truly express your feelings in the most sensitive way possible. Face it, you do have to carry your baby with as minimum stress as possible and joyously. But kudos to you for being unselfish considering. I wish you both the best!
