My first pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage was called Peanut. With our son we called him Jellybean the whole time since he was a surprise. This time we were talking about a name and my son was eating some cashews and my Dh said how about cashew which got my son to scream cashew cashew cashew so it stuck. I told my husband next one has to be Gumdrop then to keep with our legumes and candy theme. I said we are making trail mix
DH thought our baby needed a cool codename, like a spy. And he thought all the typical nicknames (peanut, jellybean, etc.) were kinda lame, so he came up with Falcon. I thought it was cool, and then said we should add the word "The" in front of it, like a true codename. Hence no whenever we refer to the baby, we just say The Falcon.
