On my way to my first appointment, my aunt (who has been like a mom to me) called and asked if I could meet her out. I told her I was on the way to the doctor to get checked for a UTI. Not a lie. I said I would call after my appt. So, I did and we met up after. As soon as we get out of our cars, she says "you're pregnant!" I couldn't believe she said that. I laughed it off and said I'm not. She asked about my appt and kept insisting that I'm pregnant, that my skin looked so good. We moved on to other topics, but she kept going back to me being pregnant. As we were leaving, she asked if I'd lost weight. I said sarcastically, "yes, I'm pregnant AND I'm losing weight."
I'm going to a family dinner tomorrow (we get together on Sundays) and I'm hoping this doesn't come up again!
That's so funny! My aunt is the exact same way, if you want everyone to know, she's the person to tell. But since I had a miscarriage last month, she's been really good about keeping her mouth shut this time. Between her and my loudmouth husband, everyone in my family knew in a week!
