I had a pretty good thanksgiving. I was able to stomach everything but turkey! I even managed to eat a little bit of pie I am definitely thankful for that!

How did everyone's dinners go? Did you get to actually enjoy eating?

I had my best day all week. Helped make sweet potato casserole, get the turkey out of the oven, and make the gravy. Ate a decent sized plate of everything. Then I collapsed on the couch and slept for 2 hours and today I feel like crap again, but I had my turkey day!!! A Thanksgiving miracle!

My dad fried up the liver (we get the happy organic free range turkeys so the liver is good) in some butter and put coarse salt on top and omg I could have eaten the whole thing. My mom and DH can't handle organ meats, but my dad and uncle and brother and I always love it and this year, I must have needed the extra nutrients or something, because it tasted even better than usual, better than pie, just amazingly delicious.

I didn't eat as muck as I normally do on thanksgiving. But I was able to have a tiny bit of everything. Even pie and eggnog!

I ate a lot but mostly while cooking haha. Then I ate more at the actual lunch/dinner. I think I've eaten more today though. I keep getting myself more and more leftovers.
Thanks cavewoman for the amazing siggie!

I actually was able to eat everything. It may not have been as much as I usually eat, but everything tasted good. I count that as a success.

I worked Job 1 from 3pm to 11pm and then Job 2 from midnight to 7 this morning. So my Thanksgiving kinda sucked, actually, LOL! But I have the weekend off and we are doing a turkey dinner and having friends over on Sunday. I'm looking forward to that and since I'm getting to where I only feel sick a few hours a day, I think I'll manage all the cooking and eating.

I had some of everything, but NOT ENOUGH! I wanted to stuff my face, but knew I would regret it if I did. Luckily MIL packed me a lot of leftovers, so I could keep eating without getting sick.
