We've told both of our families and announced on FB. SO (28) is the oldest of 3 boys so his parents are both pretty excited and my family is pretty stoked too.

We've told family and close friends and I've told work. Haven't announced on Facebook yet and probably won't until sometime in the 2nd trimester

I don't qualify for leave either. I'll be at my job for a year in a few weeks, but I'm officially a part time employee (full time during tax season but half days the other 7 months of the year). My company is also only 10 people so it doesn't have to participate in FMLA even if I was full time. I will just have to ask for leave or I will quit. If you have been at your job for a year, working a certain number of hours, and for a large enough company, you should be fine. Also some states have different laws that allow for leave that is different than the federal FMLA
