Natural birth and laboring at home untill delivery time, then I will be heading to the hospital. last labor was about 6 hours( give or take one or two) I hope this one will be even shorter. I will be purchasing a birthing ball to help with my laboring at home and use the shower/tub.....thats about it.

I'll be attempting a med-free VBAC. We're going to labor at home as long as possible and my midwife will come and check me (off the record--the hospitals don't like CPM's having anything to do with planned hospital births) and let me know when I've progressed far enough to go in. I'm trying not to plan too much because DD's birth was so completely different from what I expected, and it took a long time to get over having to have a c-section. I did handle labor for 48 hours at home and found my own groove by just following my body's cues, so I'll just go with the flow.

...and getting a little brother for her birthday! Baby Henry Wilder, due 6/7/13

I'm a first timer, but ive done a crud load of research. My birth is really important to me.
I'm planning hospital birth, med free. I would like to do homebirth next time, if able.
