Who is taking them? What types are you taking?

I just started taking them this evening. I bought "Women's One A Day: Prenatal". I was taking them while TTC about 6 months back, but they would make me nearly throw up, so I stopped taking them at all. When I found out on Friday night, I didn't have any in the house, and honestly, I forgot about prenatals until yesterday. So I'm going to try this kind again and see if they make me sick. I just know they're a good brand and I'll probably be sick enough in a few weeks anyway that I won't be able to distinguish what it's from, so oh well.

What about you ladies?

I've never been able to stomach prenatals, and if I can't keep them down, what good are they? Instead I take TWO flinstones with DHA and a folic acid supplement.

Just looked at my sample pack they are called prenate mini, they are small and have DHA and come in a cute little package.

I love the flinstone ones too

Years ago when I was doing a comparison on multiple vitamins for school, my study showed that Flinstone vitamins were actually better than any other option in the review

Flinstones are great IMO plus I never struggle to keep them down. But you have to take 2 for it to be equal to a prenatal (but I also noticed when you take 2 it's a little better than taking a prenatal!)

This time I bought Nature Maid (or Made IDK) from Wal-Mart. They are gel caps and so far I can keep them down. They have DHA and 800 of folic acid. Last time I couldn't stomach the ones that were prescribed so my OB told me to take 2 Flintstones each day.

I've been taking Centrum Materna and haven't had any trouble keeping them down if I take them with my breakfast every morning. It's my first pregnancy so I took whatever my SIL suggested. They have 1000mcg of folic acid. I hope that's good enough.

Women's One A Day Prenatal...it's 2 HUGE pills (multivitamin & DHA supp), but they're not bothering my stomach yet. when I go to the dr, I'll see what she recommends.

I'm taking the same ones! The gel one isn't too bad but I can hardly swallow the other horse pill! Ick!
