First time mommy here, when do you typically have you first appointment with an ob?

I was looking at the Appointment list and feel like I am way behind! I have yet to even call my dr or even look for an ob yet.

normally would be about 8 weeks or so but since alot of us had losses we get seen sooner. I would call your OB and see when they think you should come in.

Yep! What Kim said!
My obs office doesn't bring you in until 7.5-8 weeks along, but I am seen sooner because of recurrent losses

I think often they don't want to see you until 8 or even 10 weeks. Something to get working on, but I wouldn't stress if you haven't gotten there yet. Also, sometimes you'll see stuff on these boards that may not be what your Dr. does as a standard practice. For instance, I never had betas drawn for either of my first pregnancies. I've had then done since then because of recurrent losses. All that to say, you might feel behind because of what you see here, but you're probably right on track.

Im a first timer, too.. I was told that I cant go in for my OB orientation (blood work, paperwork, and a physical exam) until week 8... but I am going in at week 7 next Monday. Then, around week 10 they said they'd give me my first ultrasound. If due in August... you're right on track.
