This is a poem that I wrote for my baby and I wanted to share it. All of you and your love and compassion for your unborn baby/babies are what inspired me to write this poem. Let me know what you think.
Baby Inside of Me
(First Trimester poem for Baby)
Anticipation builds and my heart starts to race.
Waiting for those two pick lines to pop up and put a smile on my face.
Three minutes later, there they were, as plain as you can see.
You my baby inside of me, have just become reality.
Your father and I already love you so,
And pray every night for your little body to grow.
The first time we saw you in my tummy,
My eyes filled with tears cause I’m now, a mommy.
We saw your tiny heart flicker like a light on a tree
We gazed in amazement and drowned ourselves in thoughts of what is to be.
You our baby only as small as a pea,
Already have such a big impact on your father and me
So rest little baby, and grow big and strong
So you can arrive to be here in our arms where you belong.
