What things has your doctor actually told you not to do now that you are pregnant. I'm just curious about what your doctors actually choose to say.

My ob didn't tell me anything lol I guess he thinks I know because this is my 4th pregnancy. In the past I pretty much was told to drink plenty of water, don't change the cat box, and take my prenatal every day. I think with my first they said no hot baths too.

But never anything about eating certain stuff or lifting stuff. (Not until I was on bed rest). I still don't eat the no-nos though. But I admit, I still pick up my 35 pound 3.5 year old and will probably continue to unless I'm told not to.

Thanks so much *Kiliki* for my awesome summer siggie!

The only thing I remember is my dr saying no halls in my first pregnancy.
I mean she even said marijuana was fine for morning sickness and alcohol was fine in moderation. She's pretty laid back.

I was told to drink LOTS of water, take my vitamins, and that's about it (by the ER doctor).
Thank you Jaidynsmum for the beautiful siggy!

Haven't been to the doc yet but I remember my dr. saying that I could do anything I could do before getting pregnant except for certain meds, and alcohol.

I haven't been to her yet. I always remember getting a list of no-nos and whatnot but never kept them.

I only saw nurses for paperwork. My doc appointment is in a week!! But they told me drink a lot, dont eat sushi, hotdogs or lunch meats unless cooked to steaming hot first, no soft cheeses, no dairy or juice that is not pasteurized, undercooked meat, anything with raw eggs, and I should wash all my friuts and veggies thoroughly including bananas and melons!
