I got one yesterday...I was 7w5d. I tried it and was only getting my hb...it started out at about 125 and would slowly drop to the mid 80's so I know it was me. However, Two times as I was searching around, I got a reading of 148 that rose quickly to 157-160, then i lost it. I couldn't hear anything with it and i was perfecty still when this happend. Could that have been the baby hiding out or my error? I happened twice, during two separate attempts, and then it didn't happen again. I tried to duplicate it by moving or breathing hard or jiggling the doppler and it didn't happen. I think I am too early to use this and i have a slightly tilted uterus, but what else could make that kind of a read..?
Again, I was measuring small with a hb of 104 at 6w5d so maybe there isn;t even a hb to find I am praying I will hear it.

I couldn't hear the HB until about 10 weeks. I've heard of some women finding it at 8 or 9. For me it would do the same thing but it was just from moving the wand on my belly.
Thank you Jaidynsmum for the beautiful siggy!

I posted mine at 7w6d but even though I did it because I was so excited, I was debating it because I didn't want anyone who couldn't find it early to get nervous if they couldn't. It is not as likely to find it so early from what I've read. That said, the day before I found it, my husband said the same thing happened. He said he got a quick reading of 157 out of nowhere and then my baby's was like 161 the next day so I think it's possible he found the baby really quick before. It's sooo tiny, it's really hard to find!

I had the random pick up 140-160 happen on the opposite side of my uterus that the baby is on. When I finally found him/her it would start at 137 and then rise really quickly to right around 155-170. There is a chance that it is just to early right now, especially if you are only measuring in the 6 week range. The earliest I have heard of someone hearing it was at 8 weeks.
