I had an appt today and we got the results of my anatomy scan. Carter is perfect and 100% normal. He's even measuring a full week ahead and weighs about a pound, so that's the awesome news. Not so awesome is that my 8x6x8 cm fibroid is really really low by my cervix, and it may interfere with delivery. The potential for a c-section made tears come to my eyes and freaked me out. I know you can't plan anything, and the main thing is a healthy baby. ~sigh~

Glad it is mostly good news. I am pregnant with my first so not sure what to think of a section. I read on the Jan DDC about a torn fistula that will require surgery and now I am scared of vaginal birth., I hope all turns out so you get the birth you want.

Shoot...sorry to hear that. That would worry me too. But, on the positive side, if you end up needing a C-section, at least you won't get stretched again down there, if you know what I mean! And no tearing!

My best friend brought up the fact that it means the c-section will probably be scheduled which means more factors I can control like child care for my son and things like that. It'll all be fine.

That's a good way to look at it, there's always a silver lining!
