I feel like my lungs are working at about 25% of their capacity. Is this normal? I haven't really noticed this happening before. I have noticed that I get more winded than I used to going up the stairs or working out, but this is different. I feel like I can't breathe. I am breathing (obviously) and don't feel dizzy or anything, so I assume that I'm getting enough oxygen, but it's messing with my head and causing me anxiety. I noticed it earlier when I was just sitting down watching tv and it's been like that since. I'm not sick or anything, so I don't get it. I have been stuffy since I got pregnant, but it isn't affecting my breathing right now, this is my lungs. Even if I take a really deep breath, I don't feel like my lungs are filling up. Ughhhh.

very common, as baby grows all your insides push up putting pressure on your lungs. take deep breaths, you will be fine

That's what I figured was happening, it was just weird to me that it happened all of a sudden. It got a little better when I laid in bed on my side. But if I move, it comes back.

I have the exact same feeling. I even had a few panic attacks with my last pregnancy because i couldn't breathe! It is totally normal--- although extremely difficult!

Yea, I get so out of breath just walking around for 5 mins. The baby is growing so fast at this point so maybe that's the sudden drastic change for your breathing.

Yup, I'm dealing with the same thing. I also get winded super easy. It's only gonna get worse I'm afraid.

Thanks guys! Glad I'm not alone! It was just so weird bc it wasn't like I was winded, I was sitting on the couch, but I just felt like I couldn't get enough air in my lungs. I don't have asthma and this is making me grateful I don't! I was trying to keep myself calm and not panic about it because in my brain, I knew why it was happening and I just tried to keep breathing. And I knew if I started to have some kind of panic attack, that would just make it worse. But it was hard! Mainly because it never went away. It started again as soon as I got up this morning. I guess I'm either going to have to get used to it, or stay in my bed. Haha.
