Im 23 weeks and i know my placenta is really far from my cervix. With that said i have only ever felt her move below my panty line and on my cervix. Never any movement higher and it always feels the same. Has anyone else experienced this too? And is it normal? My other 2 sat really low but i felt movement all over.

I was exactly the same all below the belt so to speak. It changed after about 241/2 weeks, he still kicks mostly down there but I get some high kicks also.

Today is the first day I've felt kicks higher than pubic area.. It started with the baby basically doing flips in my uterus early in the morning (woke me out of a dead sleep around 3am) and now I'm feeling her kicking all over...

I felt most of baby's movement wayyy below the belly button until recently. It's like her little feet are just fluttering around down there, lol. It'll definitely move upward, though, so don't fret . There are still times I'm caught off guard when I feel her kick way up and above my navel, but it is the coolest thing! ;P

My placenta is anterior as well, so I feel her mostly down low, kicking towards my back or on my bladder (she likes to face my back), or sometimes I feel her on my sides. The times I've felt her up by my bellybutton are very few and far between.

Thank you Kiliki... for my adorable signature!

I very rarely feel anything above my panty line. He is always kicking very low and seems to be jumping on my bladder, lol. The only time I feel anything higher is when I am laying on my back reading in bed.

I'm glad you asked this, because I was wondering the same thing (this is my first pregnancy).

I feel all sorts of pokes/punches down low, right above my pubic bone (as well as the oh-so-glorious cervix headbutt) but have yet to feel anything up higher. I'm almost sure that she's head down...at least, she has been in every ultrasound we've had...so I literally had a brief moment of panic that my child's legs don't work.

Oh, first time motherhood--the fears never end!

Is your placenta anterior? Mine is and I feel movements down low, up super high, and on the sides. The only time I feel movement in the middle of my belly is when he is rolling (going from breech to regular) which he does about once or twice a day.
