Ok, So as I've mentioned before, it was a strange first Ob apt. The nurse did everything including the pap. Then the doc sauntered in for a brief moment then left. I was concerned when he didn't think to have an early Gestational Diabetes test due to my previous diabetes, but figured I would inquire next month... No biggy.
Due to my advanced maternal age I get The Nuchal Translucency test down, with the ultrasound around 12 weeks. So as I get closer to 12 weeks I wonder why I have not heard anything about my scan apt. Gut feeling..call the doc. So I did. To my shock they have not bothered to book a NT scan. SAY what?? and the secretary says she will mention it to the doc. I am just flabbergasted by this. I wish I could find someone more attentive but getting a mat doc here is not easy.

I'm so sorry. Still, I would look for a better doc, even if it took me 3 months to find one.
Thank you Jaidynsmum for the beautiful siggy!

what's a Nuchal Translucency test?

Oy.... Go with your gut. If you're getting bad vibes now, it might be time to look around for a new one!

The NT test is a screening for chromosomal abnormalities in the first trimester.
