Okay, i totally stole this from the March DDC, but it is super cool and i have to share! Its called My Baby's Beat in the app store, and it acts just like a doppler! Its only 3.99 so i figured what the heck, ill try it (since i never did go out and buy a doppler)! And its pretty neat! It doesnt work on the iphone 5, but i have the iphone4 and it works great! Got to hear her heartbeat!! Just figured i would pass this along!

It is not a real app phones can't send and get sound waves So its more just a recording(s) of heart beats. Sorry to burst your bubble I do agree tho great idea if it worked tho

The mic would not be strong enough to pic it up think of it like this try using a stethoscope it's near impossible and thos are made for hearing inside the body I bet if women posted the heartbeats they got they would sound identical. It is a great idea just phones can't do that yet

I can hear mine as well. I also hear it well with a cheapo stethoscope that I have for my nieces to play with. I brought it to my Dr appt and he clarified that her HB is exactly what I was hearing. This far along in pregnancy the HB is so strong and the baby is such a good size that it is much easier to pick up!

I also wish people would do more educated research!!

If it ran threw using the mic you should be able to not pay 5 bucks.... Sorry I'm just real Leary it seems so iffy and without being able to play with it I have no way to judge how it works. To each there own ...

And I agree i also wish people were more educated on how baby's heartbeats were picked up....
