Is that normal? Anyone else scared? How do you handle these feelings?

Feeling anxiety is totally normal. I experience it constantly, even though I know, objectively, I have nothing to worry about.

I find making lists to be really useful, so I would start on that in various categories. For example, identify specific things bothering you and deciding what steps can you take to improve your situation. Putting your daughter in daycare a couple of days a week (if this is financially an option?) sounds like it would do wonders, and it wouldn't hurt to get her used to spending time away from you; finding a way to make friends (I think you said in an earlier post that you live in a pretty small town? but something like the YMCA or a gym could be good for that. If you're close to a metropolitan area, Craigslist might work. Sounds weird, but I met a really close girlfriend there about 8 years ago). I'd also recommend socializing with any acquaintances you might have, even if it seems like you might not have much in common. To me, that seems like one of the biggest problems, given how much your husband works. Do you talk to him at all about this?

I don't know if you are religious, but often the Christian daycares/ religious are cheaper than places like Kindercare. If you live in a town with a rec center they often have mommy/child classes and this would be a good way to meet other people and let your dd be exposed to other kids.

Yea I have been feeling this way a lot too. Every Braxton hicks I get freaks me out. I just try to tell myself it's out of my control and I pray a lot and ask that he would be ok even if he was born today.

With my first, I totally worked myself up. This one, I'm like... meh. We went out this past weekend to get some stuff for him and I'm not so much worried about it anymore. I am concerned about keeping him cooking as long as possible though.
