I had my 24 week appointment and glucola test yesterday. My arms are killing me! 3 blood draws and a flu shot. Everything is still fine so far. Still lots and lots of contractions. Basically every time I change position or go to the bathroom or the baby kicks, I get one. So, I laid down on the table to do the fundal height, and have a big one. doc starts looking all worried and says, "hmmm...this is what you've been having? we better check to make sure you're not dilating."
long story short, my cervix is very closed still, so these crazy contrax aren't doing a thing. Growth wise, baby is fine. I'm up 2 pounds, so + 6 total.
With my second pg I had contractions at 26-27 weeks. I was admitted and given IV drugs to stop it. When I spoke with the doc this time he said that as long as the cervix stays closed they do not treat the contracts like in the past(over 8 years ago). Science has found some women contract without change. This has shown no to cause a problem. Hope little one stays put for a at least 15 weeks for you.
