I haven't bought one yet, but keep looking for what I want to get. I do know it will most likely be a cute onesie with pants or a sleeper. My mom bought my first little guy the cutest overall set that was massive on him! So, I went with the sleeper route the next two babies.

Here is what I keep going back to as my choice:4-Piece Head-to-Toe Set | Baby Essentials Take-me-Home Sets

Nothing yet. We will wait until closer to April so we know which way the weather might be going lol. I told DH that he and DD should go buy one the night baby is born but he said he doesn't trust himself to make that decision, lol.

I have been thinking about this a lot!! I'm not a superstitious person, but we brought my daughter home in a super sweet outfit that had the word "happy" on it. And I swear, she is the happiest child I've ever known!! Seriously, people comment all the time on how she's just always so happy. Lol. So I need to find the "perfect" outfit for this baby to live up to! Do you think it'll work??? Haha.

Let me see if these work. I think this romper is super cute with a matching hat or headband.. with the little ruffles at the bottom. Not necessarily this color but it's not a really difficult knit.

I actually own this one:

or a solid like this:

I have some really cute 0-3mo outfits, which she will probably wear one of them home. My favorite is a little Burts Bee's Baby outfit that has little pink bees on it. I can't totally plan it though, because my fave has legs, and with her club foot, I dont know if she is going to have a brace when she leaves the hospital.

here are three of the choices... I have all of them and more... I found them online at target, but I got them at Marshals (or rather, should I say my mother got a little obsessed and bought everything she could find in multiple sizes...

Burt's Bees Newborn Girls' Bee Print Bodysuit - ... : Target
Burt's Bees Newborn Girls' Woodland Bodysuit - Blue : Target
Burt's Bees Newborn Girls' Side Snap Sleep N' Pl... : Target

I haven't even thought about this yet. My daughter just came home in a cotton dress. We didn't really have a special outfit. Which is probably good because she either threw up or had a blow out (I can't remember which) in the first outfit we put her in before we even left the hospital.

I will try to find something that won't rub on her umbilical cord. For some reason that really freaked me out until it fell off.

orrrr these are adorable too

I think this baby is either coming home in one of those rompers in a solid gray color with matching hat... or a kimono sweater and longies set like his brother did.

This is our set currently being knit:

The kimono sweater obviously isn't finished yet (it will have long sleeves) and the pants will have a tie cord in the waist. It also has a matching hat.

This is what Owen came home in:

okay, I'm done post hogging now

Well I'm planning a home birth so no coming home outfit, but I do have an outfit picked out that I want to be either baby's first outfit or one of the first ones lol. It's this (the pink looking stripes are actually orange in person)
