Anyone into herbals or who has tried this tea and noticed any difference in how they feel being pregnant? I always pass by it on the tea aisle and wonder if it would do me any good to buy it. I've heard it's supposed to strengthen your uterus, but I'm not sure how anyone would know that for sure...can't really bench press anything with your uterus, lol.
I have not tried that tea but i do drink cinnamon plum tea. It is suppose to help prevent birth defects and preterm labor. I would ask your ob or midwife if there is a way to tell if your uterus is stronger.
I haven't had any while pregnant because right now I'm so passionate about my tulsi mango tea, but after I miscarried in May, I took raspberry leaves in a drop form because my local homeopathic pharmacy recommended them to help get my uterus back in shape for another pregnancy. I really can't say for sure that they worked, but I did feel immensely better soon after and got pregnant again with no problems, so who knows. I've heard of women who swear by it and say it helped with a smoother delivery. I say it's worth a try! Every bit helps. Maybe I will try it too!
When I was pregnant the first time, my midwife said I could try raspberry leaf tea and the primrose tea to go into labor faster. That was towards the end of the pregnancy and I went over my due date (I complained on and on and on and wanted the baby OUT). I did not try them though. So don't know.
