I was working while pg with my first child- 2 jobs. I quit the part-time job a month prior to the duedate and my full-time job I quit at 41.5 weeks. I finally had to just quit bc I wasn't going into labor and DH thought it might help if I laid around and relaxed. I did finally go into labor at 42 weeks but I used Cohosh to induce (which I don't recommend and that's a whole other story). My point is, you know when you are most likely to go into labor based on the previous birth so I would just go with your gut. Maybe one week would be a little better so that you get more leave time afterwards though I can see why that would be cutting it a little close.
I loved reading all of your responses. Thank you for the advice and a lot of you sound like you have a plan! That's awesome I think I actually will ask for someone to shadow me a week or so before my due date or ask to take my leave a week before my due date, since my daughter was born 6 days early. We are getting so close, I cannot wait! <3
