I was 15 weeks when I made my first call to talk to a midwife with my last pregnancy! I had just started a new job and my son had special needs, he had SO many appointments that I needed to keep track of, and almost all of my "free" time was spent in doctor's offices for him, so things kind of got away from me.

Congrats on the wedding in Hawaii! My husband and I wanted to elope there, I was also pregnant at the time LOL, but he decided not to break his mother's heart. He was the first of her kids to get married, and also the first born. She actually kind of took over the wedding, insisted on everyone wearing suits etc. We were wishing we had just eloped afterall! But we ended up honeymooning in Lahaina, which was absolutely perfect. We saw a couple of beach weddings from our hotel room, and they were so beautiful that I want to do our vow renewals there in a few years.

Click the blinkies!

Thank You, Pattyandthemoos, for my beautiful siggy!

I thought if you had previous miscarriages, you need to be seen at 6 or 8 weeks.

I'm due at the end of October too, my first appt isn't until March 28th when I'll be 10 weeks along. It does feel like forever away!
They signed me up for a first time mommy course the week before that, has anyone else's dr's office done that? It's a class with a nurse and other first timers.

how many weeks will you be at your first appointment?? Seems like the norm is to be seen at 8 weeks. I have seen a few as late as 12 though.
