I have got a stocky guy on my hands! At 8 weeks he weighs 12 pound 1 ounce (50%tile) and is 22 inches long (14% tile)

She did up his zantac by .5ml, so hopefully it will help reduce the congestion he's had lately.

We are going with delayed vax, so he got one shot and one liquid. So we'll go back in one month for the other two. He didn't do that bad - I teared up for sure!! Luckily dh was able to leave work and be my emotional support.

Max is napping on top of me right now. Hopefully he continues to feel ok.

Wowzer he's a healthy dude! Glad to hear he's doing well. I have a question, how do you do the delayed vax? Is it something you figured out w your ped? I'm interested in learning about it

We're following dr sears schedule, which for now is basically doing half of the vax now and the other half in the month.

So yes, he'll new getting shots once a month instead of every other month, but after reading dr sears book I don't want him exposed to all those chemicals/heavy metals at one time. Also, vax make me sick even still as an adult, so I don't want to run that risk with him.

Theres no proof that delaying vaxs helps anything, but at the same time it hasn't been proven that there isn't a link between vax and lets say, autism. Hes still getting his vaxs but not being bombarded by them.

That's interesting, I was just curious. I never really thought about it until I watched Vivi get 4 shots and her oral vaccine. She didn't seem sick by them but dang she has been fussy as HECK. I mean days of fussiness and not wanting to eat. I felt so bad for her. I am a proponent for vaccines though, I think they are important, but it's hard to watch your baby have them and sometimes I do wonder if so much at one time is good for anyone. It's probably smart that you decided to do delayed vax if you have had issues from them though. Good thinking mama!

Glad he had a healthy checkup! Yay!

Sounds like you have a good vax plan in place for you guys. I honestly haven't thought about anything other than what our ped recommends, but perhaps I should do a bit more reading...

Thanks *Kiliki* for my amazingly perfect siggy!

So glad he had a good appt! It's so hard to believe our babies are already having their 2 month appts. Time is FLYING.
