The past eight weeks went by way too fast. Luckily i'm only in the office two days this week and next. I miss my little guy so much!! He was smiling when i left him at daycare, so that made it a little bit easier, but i want so badly to be holding him right now and seeing his smiling face!! Is it 4pm yet?

it get's easier. Last week was my first week back and Thursday when I went to check on Evan he was holding a rattle! It goes from being sad and missing them to be SO proud of them. Keep your head up mama.

I can't even imagine. Hang in there mommy!

One thing that helps DH "get through" being away from Baxter every day is the smiles of recognition he gets when he gets home from work. It's precious!

I called a bit ago and they said other than being angry when his bottle is all gone (which he always cries when his bottle is done, boy likes his bottle!!) he's been a smiley baby all day!

I, on the otherhand, am so overwhelmed! I can't believe how much work i have to get done. And the exhaustion has caught up with me. I could use a nap!

Hugs mama. I hope the transition back to work goes as smoothly as possible for you. I'm glad to hear your sweet little one is doing great at daycare!

I've been off work 12 weeks and go back on Saturday. My work called me a couple days ago asking if I could go in within an hour notice. I can't pull a sitter out of my butt. hah. Plus I wasn't mentally prepared to just up and go to work that day.

I dread going back. I know I'll be an emotional wreck. My older kids have gotten used to me being home at night. I've enjoyed putting the kids to bed. I don't get to do that much since I work the 3-11pm shift. I'm sure Jamison will be upset when I'm not around cause I haven't left him very long. Oh well at least my husband's home with them at night and I don't have to leave them with a sitter cause my MIL or mom watches them an hour or two when I have work til DH gets home.
