My 7 year old son has the flu! It is on his way out of his body but he has been sick since Thursday afternoon. He had fever at first so on Saturday I took him to the dr and they thought maybe strep. They tested him twice and both tests came back negative. His symptoms turned to cold symptoms, really bad ones too. Congestion, runny nose, sneezing and the worst one cough! His fever would go from fever to low grade. He was just not getting better so I took him back yesterday and the dr believes he had one of the strains of the flu. He had the flu shot but appartantly not all the strains of the flu are killed by the vaccine. He is better today and really hoping he can go back to school tomorrow or Friday but my biggest fear is Sophia. I am watching every little move, I keep taking her temp, my son is wearing a surgical mask around the house..lol! It's so hard to keep them away from each other, our house is small!
Yesterday afternoon Sophia had a poop with mucus and she never had this, it could not be related or it could. Last night at her 4am bottle she didn't burp. She has a tendency when she dosen't burp and she lays down she vomitts. At 5 am my DH changed her diaper and then layed her in the crib, she started to cough and then vomitted, thankfully he was right there and sat her up. Was this cough a sign of her getting sick or just the vomit coming up cause she didn't burp? I am a paranoid mess over here....
Sorry for the rant

Yikes! I'd be a little bit paranoid too. But my sister (she is a doctor) told me that from a medical stand point the scariest times for sick babies are within the first 28 days, and then until they are about 60 days old. I was so happy once babycakes passed those two marks!
But still hope Sophie doesn't get anything and that your other guy is healthy soon!
