I remember reading somewhere in one of my pregnancies that women often have dreams of giving birth to animals. I've been through my 3 pregnancies and never had this happen...until lastnight. Lastnight, I had a dream that I gave birth in a random diner to a turtle....that's right, a turtle! I was freaking out but at the same time trying to calm all the people eating at this diner down because they were freaking out about a turtle too! It was the strangest thing ever! I was so disappointed and wondered how in the world I would care for a turtle, how would my kids react to a baby turtle as a sibling? Towards the end of the dream, although saddened, I decided to donate my baby to a zoo because I knew they would have the proper nutrition for the turtle and it would be safer there.
Anyone else had dreams of giving birth to an animal?
Oh wow...that's kind of crazy! LOL! I don't remember having any dreams about giving birth to an animal...at least not this time around! That's funny, though.
And side note...Grace is crazy about turtles, so she'd probably be pretty excited about a new turtle in the house. She stayed with my aunt for a few hours on Saturday, and my aunt has turtles (among other pets), and my aunt said she played with them for at least the whole first hour she was there.
No animal birth dreams, yet. Lol. But earlier in the pregnancy I did have one that I gave birth to a 'pocket sized' newborn and it was like that was completely normal. We just carried baby around in our front pocket. I remember having to buy shirts with pockets because the baby was coming soon. Lol.
