Honestly, I'll probably just wear sweatpants or yoga pants and a t-shirt. We won't be stopping anywhere on our way home, and I'll probably just want to be comfortable. With DS, I didn't even bother with makeup, even though I brought it with me. However, baby will be wearing something cute...just cause.
probably the same thing i wear every day... yoga pants and some kind of tank top and overshirt. i could go for a maxi dress, though, just in general. we'll see if one magically appears before the birth. i'm really not into "outfits," so whatever baby and i have on will be dictated mostly by chance.
I think I wore home what I wore into the hospital. I'll probably do the same this time. We stopped at the pharmacy drive through to get a prescription and went home so I don't care in the least what I look like. I'll want my little one to look super cute though!
We always stop on the way home and visit my grandparents. My papaw's health hasn't been the greatest the past few years and it is hard for him to travel. Since my family all live within a mile of one another(dh's brother refers to it as a compound.lol), we call them and several aunts come visit as well. It has become a nice little tradition.
I'm going to bring two outfits to choose from: A dress with sweater and a comfy second choice in case it's chilly. With my first pregnancy I packed some kind of pants and top but after an unplanned C-section...the pants were not going on near my incision! So I ended up wearing a plain black capri & shirt pajama set home.
How cute, Mrs. B! Do take a picture if you can when the time comes!
I have a pair of comfy gray lounge pants that cut low for a pregnant belly, and I figure they will work well. I think I'll pair it with a stretchy maternity top I have that is supposed to be "nursing-friendly". We'll see how it works in reality.
