My nipples hurt so much when Winter Rose nurses right now! She's teething (not biting ) so she's waking up to nurse once every night. She doesn't seem to want to eat food. She only wants to nurse lately.

What are you doing lately? Are your nipples hurting?

Mine have only just started to really 'hurt' when she feeds, but we've dropped back to only 1 feed a day, & considering she is 21 months old the only reason I haven't stopped feeding her altogether yet, is that she doesn't seem quite ready.
Oh & she's teething too. She was very slow initially to get teeth & has just had 6 or 7 come in at the same time.

My youngest just turned 2 and he is still nursing, mostly at night. It isnt too bad unless he falls asleep and accidentally chomps down. THAT hurts.

im not nursing this pregnancy, but I have done the pregnant and nursing thing 3 times. With one we ended up going onto tandem nursing. It was so hard with one of them cuz the smell of my nursling made me more nauseated. Once I got past the first trimester it wasn't too bad with the hurting though.

Just in the last week I have had pain when my 11 month old first latches on. I can't decide if he is just being a piranha at first or if I am just extra tender, I think its me. Hope it passes soon!

I thought it was Winter biting me, Mountain Momma! I kept breaking her latch over and over and telling her to try again. A couple times I put her on the floor and told her to not bite. But it's me! I was so mean! Took away my kid's boobie.

I'm still nursing and when he first latches on it stings almost like thrush but I know the difference now. LOL!
I am hoping it eases up soon.
Also he started making a sour face when he starts nursing. I think my milk's taste must be changing!
