Did anyone else get a strong gender leaning from hearing the heartbeat?

With my son as soon as I heard I just knew, all the way down, that it was a boy. This time I started off thinking I'd have a girl and everything seems to fit (except how ridiculously hairy I'm getting ) and when I heard the heartbeat with my midwife yesterday I felt as if that confirmed it.
Not the speed or anything, just the way it sounds.
I guess it's time to check out some cute newborn girl clothes

Anyone else have this happen?

hmmm i have never heard of the sound of the heart can be different for gender. interesting.

my kids both have had pretty fast hb, hers being slightly higher than his. this baby's is the lowest yet, running about the same as my sons though. it was super high in the beginning so we'll see...

around 10 weeks, the heartbeat was 176 and I just KNEW it was a girl. But, I didn't accept it. I remember that number from my other girls. Then, it was 159 later and I remembered that number too.

offspring a reward from him. Psalm 127:3

My girl went between 171 & 156...this one 150 and stayed low so I thought this is different and I was right!

This was the first time I thought "that sounds like a boy" but his HR was high until now. It's about 144 now but it was around 176 the first time and usually over 150.

Okay, so I looked this up and apparently it's actually an old wive's tale. I must have heard the story and forgot where it came from.

Apparently if the heartbeat sounds like horse hooves, it's a boy, if it sounds like a train or washing machine it's a girl.

I asked my midwife about the heartrate myth, and she said that while there's nothing to it, she's had mother's whose babies have always gone along with it.
