i been watching hgtv all day.... i so wish i could decorated my house like some of the houses i saw. I love seeing how people decorated or furnish there house. i would love to see what your fave room look like.
I'll get back to you in, oh, 6 months When we moved to this house, we knew it was temporary so we didn't unpack half our stuff and didn't do any decorating. Hopefully we'll be moving in June, and then I can focus on decorating during my maternity leave (between baby stuff). I have a bunch of stuff pinned on Pinterest.
almost every part of my house is half decorated
heres my fave room but i had to take pics from upstair cause hubby was complaining about me on the steps cause im on bedrest so the pic doesnt do it justice
Probably my kitchen, simply because I have never had a 'proper' kitchen before this house. My parent's house has a kitchen right in the middle that is very small and is also the only way to get from room to room, so it's just full of people and tiny, so you can't really cook in there. When I was in sharehousing I lived in an 1890's farmhouse with no running water in the "kitchen" so we had to go outside and into the scullery to get water, then bring it back into the makeshift kitchen to cook. Then when I first moved in with DH we were in a very small unit where the kitchen was just a bench against the wall in the loungeroom.
So this is technically my first ever real kitchen and I love it (even if I hate the pink, but we are renting so I can't change that).
The girls room it isn't quite finished..
The bookcase we painted:
The dresser and mirror:
And a couple of diy crafts i made for the room on the side table (that my 2 year old took to with a pen..actually, multiple pens.)
