I'm thinking morning or early afternoon that way we only have to stay in the hospital one night instead of two. DD was born in the middle of the night, so we had to stay another night.

With my last I went into active labor in the evening and she was born just after midnight. That was great- the kids were in bed and I didn't even lose that much sleep.

I forgot to add that I plan on labor being less than 5 hours Our second child absolutely one hundred percent spoiled me. (I dialated really far without knowing it. They discovered it at a regular appointment. I was send to L&D so they could break my water and start labor. Little did I know that I was contracting. From the time they broke my water until he arrived was far less than 2 hours).

I'd prefer a time where there isn't much traffic, so middle of the day or late in the night is good. It takes 45 minutes without traffic to get to my hospital. I went into labor with Lily in the late afternoon and she was born just after midnight. I went into labor with Abri after midnight. It took 30 minutes for us to get ahold of my mom and get her over to our house when she lives down the street because she was so asleep. Abri was born just after 1:30am

Definitely not at night, I went in to labor at around 9pm and didn't have him until 2:46pm the next day. It sucks being in pain at night when you're trying to sleep lol
