Ryker eats 4 oz ever 3 hours like clockwork! All day n night long, he is starting to want 5 oz, I try to Intise him with his binkie at that point cuz 5 oz seems way to much, but he holds it down when I do and he's happy afterwords!! we switched formulas on wed so I went in this morning for a weight check and he is weighting 11.5 lbs and 23 1/2 inches long at 5.5 weeks! So He is a bigger baby so do you think he needs the 5 oz??! How much are all your little ones drinking!? I'm waiting for the doc to call me back.

I breastfeed so I don't know how much she is getting. She is starting to eat more. She eats every two or three hrs during the day for about thirty or forty min at night it is every three to four hours and about twenty to thirty min.

I breastfeed and feed pumped milk. She is 11lbs 7oz and eats 5.5 oz from the bottle. As long as he isnt spitting it up you should be fine in giving him 5oz

I told my doctor that Corie was eating 3 1/2 oz every 3 hours and he told me if she wanted more to give her more..she is up to 4 oz every 3 hours..but last night we gave her 4 oz and she slept from 11 to 7 in the morning. I think you should give him what he is keeping down and if he acts like he is still hungry and wants more then let him have it. If after you burp him he spits up some then most likely it was too much.

I breastfeed and am worried he gets too much. He will occasionally drink until he spits up and then want to keep going. He also wants to eat every time he wakes up, even if it was only a 10 min nap. I am probably going to start collecting milk this week to see how much he gets and so others can feed him during the night. He's only two weeks and I know he's about 11lbs (born 10lb 6oz). Just glad I'm not the only one worried about this.

I'm breastfeeding so I honestly don't know how much he's getting. I let her feed from one side until she's done and it can take up to 35 minutes for her.

I wish I could get Matteo to consistently eat 4-5 oz every 3-4 hours, but he refuses. He wants to eat 2-3 oz every 2-3 hours still. I think he would sleep better at night too if he took more but I can't force it down.
