In an earlier post I asked about what was normal for Braxton hicks... I called my doctor and they put me on bed rest through the weekend because they were symptomatic of actual contractions not BH. unfortunatly at 19 weeks they cant give me meds to stop it. I followed as best as I could. It's hard when you have an active 15 month old. The contractions eased up, every now and then I will have one that catches me off guard but I wouldn't call them painful. Sunday I rolled my ankle and fell I don't think I fell hard enough to hurt my self or the baby (other than my ankle) but my doctor warned me about falling with my placenta being low. But I haven't bled or anything.
Called my doctor with an update today as I'm hoping they will let me travel 4 hours to see my husband.
The receptionist told me not to leave until I heard back from them I hope that doesn't mean no

Doctor said no!
They don't want me going very far until 34 weeks.
They said baby can come out then but no sooner. Apparently they are a little concerned about preterm labor. Her words where "we need to be treading gingerly with this pregnancy until 34 weeks, that's when your baby girl can have a good chance of survival"

Take it easy, I cant stress that hard enough. Its not that easy with a baby at home also but remember the pregnancy will go by fast and it will be all worth it. Hope they ease up.
