My costochondritis has been ok lately. I was going to go for acupuncture last Tuesday, but the day was pretty busy. It has gradually gotten worse and more frequent, and last night it woke me several times during the night (but not too the point it was last pg). I got in this morning and it went ok. We will see if it helps. He recommends going 3 times a week until it is under control. I'm going tomorrow morning and maybe on Friday--I hope to only do it for a couple of weeks and then maybe once a week as needed. He said most of his patients with this benefited most from having adjustments. He knows I'm not a fan of adjustments, but he is way better than the last chiropractor I saw so I will see if the acupuncture doesn't quite do it. I will do about anything so it doesn't get to the point it was last time.

I hope it helps!

I get adjusted weekly, but I adore my chiropractor.

I don't have costochondritis, but I get bad sciatica during pregnancy and this time I plan on getting adjustments once a month to see if that helps. I actually need to make an appointment for that. Am planning on going to my first one in at about 16 weeks.

I have a hypermobile spine, so it is not uncommon to feel popping and stuff in my spine, but I hate it. This chiropractor did say that he focused his adjustments on certain areas rather than doing the whole area all at once. He was just appointed to the state chiropractor licensing board, so he must be pretty rereputable... and I only went to him because he was close! I've done acupuncture 3-4 times before with him over the past year.
