I've registered for the Baby Jogger City Mini in all black and the Graco SnugRide in Metropolis (mostly black with some gray). I'm not a fan of "girly" prints AT ALL, and I figured black would be easy to clean. However, my husband thinks an all black stroller will get way too hot in the NC summer, and that black for a girl isn't attractive. What are your thoughts?
As soon as I saw this I was going to warn you about them getting hot. If you have a garage where your stroller will mostly live, you might not mind it; my DS refuses to ride in his orange and black stroller anymore because it got hot so often. If you plan to carry the car seat with you whenever you leave the car (I.e. you are not planning to baby wear), that shouldn't get too bad, but it's something to consider.
I am getting the same stroller! I Live in Arizona and my current all black stroller doesn't get too hot, so I think you're good. Just don't keep it in your trunk with your car in the sun, I keep ours in the garage. And I think all black is fine for a girl
I bought the all black and some grey Britax travel system before I knew gender because I LOVED it and it looked so nice for either. I figured if I really wanted people to know the gender I can just put a pink or blue blanket in there. If you love it I'd say go for it.. I dont know about the heat issue, though. I don't have to worry about that here.
We have the baby jogger city select and it's black! Our car seat was also black with some green. I did all gender neutral for big items. Our infant seat had a crack when we checked it for this baby so we have to get a new one. I am probably going to pick a girly print since it's the last baby. I think black is totally fine!

I am not a fan of gender specific big items, so I don't think black is a problem at all. We have a brown and green carseat that we've used for our boys and will use for this baby girl. It's not quite as dark, but I've never noticed a problem with it getting too hot.
